In 2011, we were approached by Core architects to create a fixture that resembled something that was already fabricated in Europe. The problem at hand was the shipping and certification cost of the fixture making it unfeasible for the budget. The lead architect offered us some line drawings and from there we were able to re-engineer the entire light fixture locally within their budget.

The Lacoste LED fixture consisted of a large laser-cutted alligator hung by aircraft cables. In addition, over two hundred smaller alligators were then hand strung on very thin gage of silver wire. The entire fixture was also chrome plated, polished and hand assembled in our shop.

After the fixture had been tested in our shop, we then had it safety inspected for electrical certifications. At our shop we hi pot test all of our fixtures to ensure safety in all of our products.
