The Chrystie Hotel by Ian Schrager is one of the most unique boutique builds in New York. The project involves automation and scene settings that are controlled wirelessly. As technology continues to advance exponentially, the bar of creating better user experiences is set higher. Fabrication of custom fixtures to enhance user experiences are not as simple as before, there is definitely a merge of technology and fixturing.

Lumidesign fabricated a complex backlit mirror that could be controlled and programmed wireless with Evolve control systems. Over + 500 mirrors were installed boasting chrome plated housings, LED hard strip technology with heat sinks, custom CNC – pull handle switches and much more.
